Deciding on the Title

 

So far, my group and I have come up with a decent name for our film opening: The Perfect Family.

It's a pretty good name because it's short and simple and highlights our main antagonist's want for the perfect family shown by him kidnapping children in the opening.

Production: Planning for Day 3

As I have recently said, an obstacle that my group and I have had is conflict in our schedules which has effected our ability to finish recording. So in order to make up for that, I have decided to plan for a day, sometime this weekend, where we will shoot.

To Do List:
- Shoot the major "glitch scene" at the table
- Shoot the major dinner scene (man making dinner, setting up the table and sitting down)
- Shoot final scene (shows kids being tied up and that everything is an illusion)

Production: Day 2

Today we were able to get some shots at my friends house but due to a lack in enough time, we weren't able to finish.

We were able to put some props to use and got some basic/not as important shots.

We still need to get some major scenes with our actors and figure out when the best time for that is schedule wise.

Production: Day 1

After getting our props and doing more in-depth planning, we have finally begun to start filming. one of the major scenes in our movie is at the park and since the rest of the filming is done at my friends house we thought that this should be our starting point.
An issue we had at first was working the camera, but after we got past that, it was smooth sailing. We got some good shots at the park that we hopefully are able to use in our film opening final.

Obstacle #3: Scheduling

So, a challenge that my group and I have come across is a difference in our schedule which has limited the amount of filming we can get done in a month. My friends do extracurriculars after school on certain days, actors have busy lives as well and I am unable myself to do it on weekends. This is a conflict that is really concerning as we really need to get more filming done before the end of the month.
